Primary colors of a paving stone blocks produced - black (made from the stone of different deposits of gabbro, labradorite, basalt), light – grey (Pokostivske deposit), dark-grey (Zhezhelivske deposit), green (Maslavske, Chovnovske, Rogovske deposits), red or red-brown (for example - Omelyanivske, Kapustyanske, Mezheritske, Vasylivske and others).   Stone blocks with the chopped outward finish (the facial (right) side of a stone block has chopped rough surface) apply for the outward paving or apply a stone blocks with sawn finish (the surface (right) side of stone block has a sawn surface which gives roughness due to fire treatment).

 

Classic paving stone blocks are chopped. It has the appearance of block from granite of not quite regular shape measuring 10*10*10 cm with possible rejections in 1 cm on each direction. While paving other sizes of stone blocks 5*5*5, 10*10*5, 7*7*7 cm etc are also used. In Europe, where the chopped stone blocks are used already millenniums, other proper digital denotations of these products are used – 4/6, 9/11/5, 6/8.   The chopped stone block has been tested for ages, elegant and refined. Performed according to different pictures - «by fans», «by waves», «by chess-board» and others with gaps between stone blocks about 10 mm. Plenty of pictures with the variants of paving chopped stone blocks and other kinds of paving stones are presented on DVD disk which we will send to you on your request free of charge.   The basic lack of the chopped stone blocks is an unevenness of facial part, conditioned by the technology of production. Certainly, such stone blocks are polished during the time period, that’s by the car tires, by shoe soles, but it is characteristic for coverings with high intensity of exploitation. On the private area this process can take decades because of the highest hardness of granite. If in the Middle Ages this drawback was not so meaningful, then with the appearance of «heels» on a womanish shoe the unevenness of facial part became a substantial minus. The chopped stone block at the same time is the cheapest material for paving from granite. The separate types of such stone blocks in a count on a square meter cost practically two times cheaper of any sidewalk tile made from sand and cement, in dozens times excelling its durability and weariness. In particular, it belongs to the realized by the company not-calibrated stone blocks from granite. What does the “not-calibrated” stone block mean? In the process of making stone blocks from granite the selection of stone is made which doesn’t meet the requirements of standards on these products. It is granite stone which has one even ground with sides not less than 5 cm and not more than 12 cm of arbitrary thickness.

The paving stone blocks with sawn finish and a rough top are deprived  extreme roughness, looking like a «brick» from a granite the size of which 20*10*6 cm (or other size according to the customer’s wish), made with admittance + - 1 mm on facial part. The sawn stone block is paved by continuous «carpet» with lots of pictures with minimum gaps. The roughness of facial part is reached with the help of high temperature fire of (flamed type of process). This process also contributes to the improvement of decorative qualities of facial surface, being alongside with polish, splitting and beating one of the methods of surface «dissections» of natural granite, making the surface «play». The color gamut of natural granite manifests itself more vividly, when the paving surface is wet and well lighted up. The sawn stone blocks are the most expensive among all types of granite stone blocks. It takes place because the production of such stone blocks is carried out using expensive diamond tools and from expensive granite raw material.

The special place in the list of our products occupies the sawn-chopped (sawn and splitted) paving stone blocks with an even (sawn and flamed) facial surface. Ordinary sizes of facial surface are 100*100 mm, 200*100 mm. Such stone block is mainly made 60 mm. thick. Trucks can run on such surface as the latter is rather thick. On the Customer’s wish we can produce stone blocks of greater thickness or other sizes on the facial surface. This type of stone block possesses even and at the same time rough facial surface, sawn in the underbody part and chopped is in side-frames, well combining in itself advantages of the chopped and sawn finish of granite paving stone. A stone block can be paved on the same technology as chopped stone blocks, with large gaps, using the different charts of paving, and the chopped sides give the sawn-chopped stone blocks coverage decorativeness of the chopped stone blocks. An enterprise also produces chopped stone blocks with one even side. The cost of this kind of stone blocks ranges approximately between chopped stone blocks and stone blocks with sawn-chopped finish.
